About the Artist

Cindy McDaniel is a self-taught oil and acrylic painter based in Billings, Montana. Her work reflects the rugged beauty and spirit of the American West, drawing inspiration from the land she loves and calls home. Before turning to fine art, Cindy worked in decorative surface design—creating custom plaster finishes and textured artwork that brought warmth and character to both interiors and exteriors.

She is also the owner of Brow Art PMU in Billings, where she brings her trained eye and steady hand to the art of permanent makeup.

Cindy and her husband, Sean, share a love for travel and have visited Italy several times—not only to enjoy its rich culture, but to study classical art and traditional Italian cooking. Closer to home, they enjoy hiking, snowboarding in the winter, and relaxing by the fire at their cabin in Red Lodge. One of her greatest joys is spending time with her children and her grandson.

Her paintings capture not just what Montana looks like, but how it feels—timeless, wild, and deeply personal.
